About the wannabe

However, wannabe...that's exactly what I'm not.
I love to be different and once, a friend of mine told me she thought I was cool, just because I am different; I always go my own way. I like that people think about me like that, but sometimes I think it's okay to be normal, too.

Okay, something about me. I'm Tanja. I'm 17 years old. I was born on June the 15th, 1992. I live in a village in the Netherlands and it's quite boring. I live in a house with my mum & dad and my younger brother and we're all sort of nuts. In a good way.

My hair is dark-blond, and my eyes are brown-greyish. I do care about the clothes I wear, but in a way that I only want to wear the things I like. When I think something is cool/cute/whatever, I'll wear it! My favourite stores are H&M, Topshop and Claire's. I like dots and stripes and skulls and cool textes on my shirts. I have to say that celebrities can affect me very much in the way what clothes I like. Thanks to Zooey Deschanel I now have an affection with vintage clothes. My most-loved property is a blue vintage dress from the sixties! That's also my favourite color: blue.

People think I'm strange. I think I know why, and when I look at myself I sometimes see what they see. I'm a perfectionist. I only want good grades and I can get quite depressed when things don't go according to plan. I don't have OCD, but I certainly think I'm some sort of OCD-ish. I know, that doesn't actually exist, but it feels that way. I always have to go through the same ritual in the mornings and evenings and when I go to school I always travel the same route, or I'll go batshit. Things need to be ON the table, not over the edge for a part. Books need to be categorized from small to big, lists I make need to be in alphabetical order. In my pencil case, my pens and pencils need to point into the same direction. Okay, enough about my OCD-ishness. I'm also slightly claustrophobic and I HATE elevators. Seriously, I'd rather go up 12 flights by stairs.

Enough about my strangeness, more about the good things in life. I like music. A lot. I can't say it literally IS my life, but it certainly is a big part of it. My music-taste is rock most of the time, but sometimes I like the metal stuff too, at least when it's female-fronted. I've got a very broad music taste, in a way that I like a lot of 'old' stuff too, but also indie and I have a soft spot for folk music and soundtracks.

I can be pretty obsessed and fangirly with both actors and actresses. I'm very picky about my celeb crushes, but when I have one I cannot stop fangirling!
